Teen Wolf 4x09

So, I have to be honest, I thought this episode was quite disjointed and as a result I didn't really know what was going on. As usual. It also kinda felt like I'd missed an episode or something.

So Meredith is the benefactor? But why? And what does it mean? And how did she manage to control that dude at Eichen House and she is somehow controlling the entire police department of Beacon Hills (apart the Sheriff and Parrish, obviously)? How can she do that? I don't know what's going on!

Despite the confusion there were some great moments in this episode - I'm glad we got to see Parrish again (I'd missed him) and I liked the way he used his powers to save himself but he didn't know why. He doesn't even know that he's supernatural. I quite like that. I guess he must have used his power - whatever it is - to hear that Lydia needed help. Or something? As that scene was going on I was beginning to wonder exactly how Stiles and Lydia would get out of the situation. I was glad Parrish showed up. I was actually half expecting Stiles to do something, something supernatural. I dunno. Incidentally, why had Lydia added his name to that list?

I thought the Stiles and Lydia scenes were good too - I always like it when they team up (in a non romantic way) to investigate and figure things out. They're really good at it and they somehow manage to bring out the best in each other during the investigating - although it did take them way longer than it should have to figure out that “Ariel” was the code. I also liked that Stiles was trying to stop Lydia from listening to that tape because he knew that was on it was gonna be something horrible, something that she wouldn't want to hear.

The storyline that ran parallel to the Stiles and Lydia scenes featuring Scott, Liam and Malia just didn't hold my interest as much as the Stiles and Lydia stuff for some reason but it was nice seeing Derek saving Scott and co and I thought the scene when Scott told Derek about his name cracking the code was good. I'm glad Scott told him.

Another scene I really liked was the one between Stiles and the Sheriff in the hospital. I always like it when we get scenes between these two because in between all the crazy it's nice to get a relatable scene about their money problems and the father/son dynamic. I'm interested in seeing where this money trouble storyline might go. When Scott was counting the money I thought it was gonna turn out that some of it was missing and Stiles had stolen some.

I also liked the scene of Lydia explaining what happened to her Grandmother to the others. That was a nice bit of backstory.

I also think it's pretty interesting that apparently anyone can have access to the deadpool? I'm not sure how that works though.

I think episodes posed more questions and with only a handful of episodes left this season I'm wondering just how things are gonna end.

Speaking of "Teen Wolf" - well, kinda - this evening I'm heading to the Apple Store in Regent Street for the "Meet the Filmmakers: The Maze Runner" event. I've never been to an event like this at the Apple Store before so I'm not sure how it all works but I'm quite excited! I've booked my place and everything but the website still says to "come early" so I'm not sure what time to get there for. I'm thinking of aiming to get there for about 5pm because I don't want to hang around by myself for too long.

I watched "The 100" last night. I think I'm losing interest in it a little bit, to be honest. Bellamy's cool but that's all I'm interested in right now - scenes without him in just don't hold my attention at all. Maybe things will pick up?
