So, I work up a little early than I needed to this morning and headed downstairs for breakfast at about 8am (I'm not usually a breakfast person but it's included with the room so I thought I'd get a little bit. And also take some away with me for lunch). Then went back into my hotel room for a little while before heading down again for the announcements followed by the first talk of the day which was Charlie and Max - I always think double or group talks are really good and it's fun to see how the cast relate to each other and play off of each other.
The Max and Charlie talk was pretty interesting and funny at times - and people again asked a nice mixture of questions. I liked the questions related to their upbringing (apparently they went to different boarding schools which I thought was interesting). I can never remember any specific questions when I write about talks (I'm sure there are other reports out there with question details) but I did really enjoy this one. After it was finished there was a short break so I headed back up to my room for a little while - just to chill for a bit and I needed to check out by midday and it was time for that. I miss my room, it was a pretty nice room. Even if the bed was too high so my feet didn't touch the floor when I sat on it (and I'm pretty tall!) - I kinda had to jump out. It made me sad to be leaving it after only a short amount of time. I did end up checking a few times in case I'd left something behind - I actually left the room but had to go back just to make sure.
The second talk of the morning was with Adam and Stephen and they were really good together! It was a talk pairing that I wouldn't really have thought of but it really worked. Stephen's loud sarcasm paired with Adam's quite dry sarcasm really worked and their talk was really funny! Again I can't really think of any specific questions but their different personalities and interests made things pretty interesting when it came to answering questions. Really entertaining talk. After that there was another short break where they showed some extras from the DVDs on the screen. I didn't bother to leave the hall that time.
Then the final talk before lunch was with Holland and Ian - this was another interesting talk and it was great to see them interacting as they seem to have a pretty strong friendship. I liked that. After that talk it was time for an hour lunch break - during that time I went for a wander around the grounds after eating my dinner. I usually walk quite a lot and hadn't really done that on Saturday so I felt like I needed to walk for a bit and I needed to get some air. It was nice walking around the lake and stuff anyway. I also found a really cool underpass thing that was painted like all kinds of animals - and it had multicoloured lights in it which was cool (it was a bit disorientating walking through it though - it would be weird in the dark). I took some pictures that are on my instagram. It was nice to get a bit of fresh air and wander around anyway. It was a nice day.
I think I picked up my group photoshoot sometime during lunch. Here it is (hopefully Rogue Events will put the jpgs online sometime soon):

I think it came out really well - and I look okay (the same as I did in last years really, only with a different shirt on)! Phew! After lunch there were only a couple of talks left and the first of those was with JR, Daniel and Tyler. Tyler and JR did one at last years Wolf's Bane and it was one of the best of the weekend, with Daniel added to the mix this one ended up being even more entertaining. The three of them played off each other brilliantly and you could see that they've all become really good friends. I think the best part was Tyler trying to keep Daniel and JR under control! Hahaha! Oh, and Daniel talking about curling and shouting out "sweep!!" randomly was hilarious! Especially when JR joined it! I think it was best talk of the weekend and the organisers must have know it would be because they saved it til the end!
The final talk was what's called "pivot questions" with all guests present where they are asked 10 questions and all have to answer in turn. It was great having all the guests back on stage again (minus Seth Gilliam, of course, who was only there on the Saturday) but the guests that were there last year - Stephen, JR and Tyler had to answer the same questions all over again. That question and answer session was quicker than I think they intended it to be because after it they went straight into the closing ceremony and then the weekend was over, slightly earlier than scheduled at about 4.10pm. Which was a bit awkward because was train wasn't until 6.40pm so I had to do something to occupy myself. I wandered around outside for a little bit before heading into the train station. By the time I got there I still had an hour to wait! Surprisingly it went by fairly quickly. Oh, and when I was on the platform just before my train came a girl standing there asked me if I'd been at Wolf's Bane and when I said yes she motioned that the cast were over there, on the platform! Probably getting on the same train as me! That was weird. They were probably in first class as they were standing at the end of the platform that would have been the front of the train. I assume they were going to Euston because that's where the train was terminating after stopping at Coventry and Watford Junction (they didn't get off at Coventry - well, I didn't see them on the platform when the train moved on again - and I got off at Watford Junction and they didn't!). It was a great event! And I like to thank Rogue Events, all the guests and all of the attendees for making it so good! Even though I don't really interact with other fans the questions everyone was asking made all the talks so entertaining!
Oh, and they've announced Wolf's Bane 3 for next July! 10-12th July 2015.
Anyway, Dad picked me up at Watford Junction and we rushed back home to get back in time for the World Cup final! We arrived with minutes to spare!

So, Germany are the champions of the world! I think they probably deserved it - it was a close game and Argentina will be regretting the chances they had and the goal opportunities they wasted but I think over the whole tournament Germany deserved it slightly more! And I just like Germany more than I like Argentina so I'm happy with the result. And that was a great winning goal from Mario Gotze!
I can't believe Messi got the player of the tournament award, the Golden Ball. I don't think he deserved that at all. He's a good player but I don't think he was that great in this tournament. There were definitely players that were way better than him. James Rodriguez (so glad he got the Golden Boot, btw), Alexis Sanchez. The list goes on. That was definitely an interesting decision. I think Manual Neuer probably deserved the Golden Glove though. He's a great keeper.
And now the World Cup is all over. And I feel sad. This has been a great tournament and I've enjoyed every single minute of it (even though England went out early). From Spain going out early to Costa Rica getting to the quarter finals this tournament has had some great moments but also some controversial moments - Suarez, some wrong referee decisions etc. I just love tournaments like this so much! I was really looking forward to this World Cup and it really disappoint. I think I need to watch more international tournaments - the Copa America etc.
