The Following 2x13
I thought this was a pretty good episode - I liked the Mike and Max scenes as usual and I'm wondering where Mike's gonna go from here, I liked that Ryan and Max were trying to talk him out of it but I had a feeling he was gonna pull the trigger anyway. I don't think he could have just walked away. I don't think killing her is gonna make him feel any better though, maybe it'll make him feel worse in the end. And Mark and Luke will probably be after him now too. I'm looking forward to the fall out next week.
I thought the scenes between Joe and Ryan were good too - Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy have really good chemistry and it really shows through in their scenes - and I think Joe is kind of right. If Ryan was to finally kill him what would Ryan even have then? He never believed Joe was dead the last time and it would probably be the same again. Can Ryan even function if he doesn't have Joe to fight against and obsess over? And what would Joe do if he didn't have Ryan chasing him? They definitely have a bizarre connection as shown when Joe wouldn't kill him even though Emma was telling him too.
I'm glad Joe and his followers have moved away from the religious cult stuff - I haven't really been a fan of that this season - and I'm interested in what his plan is now? And now he knows (or suspects) that Claire isn't dead after hearing that message Carrie aired. What's he gonna do with that knowledge and what is Claire's plan once she draws him out?
There can only be a couple more episodes left now, I wonder how it's gonna end?
WH13 5x01
This show returned with the first of the six final episodes and I just realised that I'm not ready for it to end at all. And now there's only five episodes to go and I'm scared about how it's gonna end
I thought this was a good season opener and continued on from last seasons finale really well (I'm glad there was a “previously on...” because I'd forgotten a lot) and I liked the whole time travel element - that's always good in these shows and I especially liked it when Pete told them not to try and explain it because it never makes sense and hurts his head! I agree with you, Pete!
I was glad Myka seems to be okay now and I liked that Pete didn't want to tell her what he did but she ended up finding out anyway. I liked her telling him off because they should always put the Warehouse first and not each other and I thought it was really cute when Pete said that he'd still put her first anyway (making sure she didn't hear, of course!). I really like their friendship - actuall the whole family feel is one of the best things about this show and I'm really gonna miss that.
I was surprised to see Mark Sheppard again - for some reason I missed his name in the credits - and I'm interested in what they're gonna do with his character. Especially now he's in the time line with them. What's his plan?
I'm also interested in where the Claudia sister storyline is gonna go. With only five episodes to do it in there seems to be a lot of questions that need answers.
Oh and Lisa Da Vinci was pretty cool. I wonder if we'll see her again?
Finally for Tuesday night I watched "Elementary" - 2x18 - I thought this episode was pretty good as usual. I enjoyed the scenes between Bell and Joan (I almost want to ship them, you know?) and I liked the scene at the end between Sherlock and Bell too - I thought it was quite nice that Sherlock wasn't sure if he should go to the party for Bell or not because he was the one who caused the situation that meant Bell needed to rehabilitate in the first place and he wasn't sure if it seemed right. I liked seeing that side of Sherlock.
I thought the case of the week was pretty interesting - the murderer was pretty clever in making himself look like he was a victim really. Obviously he hadn't considered Sherlock being there to figure things out.
