I feel like I haven't posted in ages! Has anyone missed me? I have a few shows to comment on.
First up is "Being Human USA - 1x12 - another strong episode. I really like the way they're doing all of the different storylines and I liked the way they all seemed to have each others backs this week even more. I was disappointed that they were all separate in the previous episode while going through all their stuff so it was good to see that they'd filled each other in on everything that had been happening and I liked the scenes between Aiden and Josh when they were talking about the Nora situation. I also liked the introduction to Aiden's old girlfriend who had come to the hospital to die and I enjoyed the flashbacks about Aiden and Bishop. The Sally stuff was interesting too - I was quite surprised when her door appeared although I suppose it makes sense that her unfinished business was Danny getting away with killing her so now he's confessed she can move on.
Next weeks is the finale already - I wonder what's gonna happen? I also wonder if Watch are gonna go straight into season 2, as we're so far behind the US already.
I also watched "Graceland" 1x04 - I'm still enjoying this show but I'm waiting for an amazing episode to come along to make me proper love it! This episode came pretty close and I really enjoyed Mike's reaction to everything that went down. He might be the top of his class and trained very highly but this is still all really new to him. Things are definitely different when you actually do them even if you've been trained.
I liked the storyline between the other guys too - that was interesting. It's still early days with this show but there's definite potential for something really great. I'm looking forward to more.
Last night we went to a quiz night and this quiz night included a 30 minute round that was like a maths test! It was like "if the train leaves the station at 7.22am and is travelling at 50mph blah blah...". I hate those kinda questions! I think I looked at the question sheet and was like "hahaha, nope" and let everyone else on our team deal with it. In the end Jo and I hid in the toilets and then waited outside until it was over. Honestly, I was getting high school maths class flashbacks! I hope we don't go to a quiz that does that again.
When I got home I watched 1x08 and 1x09 of "Cult" (which the CW have decided to air in double bills for three consecutive Friday nights which is good because I enjoy this show enough to want to see the final few episodes). I enjoyed both episodes. I mean, I had no idea what the hell was going on but I still enjoyed them - I think 1x09 was slightly better. And I still totally ship Jeff and Skye. I think that we might actually get some answers before the end of the show which is good because it would be a shame to not find out anything. Looking forward to seeing the final 4 episodes.
Oh, also, I watched "Not Another Teen Movie" the other night. It was actually better than I was expecting and some of the references to other movies were pretty cool. I especially like the "The Breakfast Club" references. I love that movie. It was cool seeing Eric Christian Olsen in it though and some unexpected appearances from Sam Huntington (from "Being Human USA") and Rob Benedict (who was billed as Robert Patrick Benedict).
