That was so sweet. Are you kidding?

WH13 4x18

Another enjoyable episode this week - I always enjoy this show.

I thought the stuff about Myka was really well done especially how off she was and how Pete knew something was wrong and she just didn't know how to tell him because she didn't know how he would react. I really liked the way she thought of different ways he would react to her telling him. I also thought the scene when she told him was really sad. Their friendship is a great part of the show (all the friendships are) so I'm glad they showed just how important they are to each other. I'm assuming they're gonna find some kind of way to cure her, right? Maybe using the philosopher's stone or something (incidentally I loved the way Pete referenced Harry Potter when they mentioned it, especially because it's called the Sorcerer's Stone in the US, isn't it?).

I was glad they didn't drag out the Nick stuff too much and had his planned be revealed to everyone already - I also liked that Steve didn't trust him from the beginning. Although, how did he manage to lie to Steve without him knowing? Maybe it was emotions Nick really was feeling in his own life so techincally it wasn't a lie? I think Nick has kinda bonded with Claudia anyway and will maybe regret what he's done and try to fix it at some point. I liked the way Nick put the whammy on Claudia and Steve and kept them apart for most of the episode too

Now, why have they freed Giles and why have him and Nick gone against the plan? I loved Artie's reaction when they realised what was happening. With only a couple of episodes left this season I think things are about to get serious! I wonder what's gonna happen next?

Teen Wolf 3x04

Hmm, okay. I have no idea what was going on for most of this episode. I'm not sure what the whole werewolf, alpha, pack storylines were all about! And I have no idea where this Deucalon storyline is going.

I did, however, really like the storyline about the sacrifices - and I think it's gonna be really cool having Stiles team up with Lydia and Deaton to try and figure things out. I think this storyline could be really interesting. Especially as Stiles and Lydia are both kinda broken in their own ways. I think Stiles just desperately wants to be able to do something, you know? He's not involved in all of Scott's dramas anymore and I think he's kinda feeling a bit left out. A bit not special like everyone else. Maybe he's feeling a little bit too human right now. The way he was towards the case was more than just Stiles being interested, it was like he needs to do this. He needs to find patterns. He's always been interested in his father's cases but I think this somehow means more to him. I think Dylan O'Brien is doing a good job of this as usual - you can almost see Stiles unraveling. Especially during the scene when he asked the latest victim's girlfriend if he was a virgin and then his dad had a go at him. I really hope this lead somewhere for his character because I think it's really interesting. Especially as he seems to be getting more and more isolated from everyone else. I'm getting worried.

And Lydia, of course, has her own issues going on. I'm assuming she didn't even know how she got to be in that music room when Danny found her. For some reason she's connected to this somehow and I think she's starting to want to know why.

I really liked the stuff between Isaac and Allison in this episode - I suddenly find myself wanting to ship it. They have great chemistry. And I really liked the references to Isaac's previous issues - with him being afraid of small spaces and then the scene of Derek getting angry with him seeing a little too familiar to him. I thought it was nice when Isaac showed up at Scott's at the end too. I think we might see more of their friendship as the season goes on - maybe that might lead to more Stiles insecurities too. I'm really starting to like Isaac so far this season.

I also quite liked the scene between Derek and Ms Blake (is that her name?). I thought that was quite sweet.

I loved the scene near the beginning of Stiles being all worried about being a virgin and then Danny being all "okay, I'll do it". That was so funny and I loved Stiles' reaction it. And Scott's reactions too. Brilliant!

After those two I watched the series finale of "Touch" - 2x13 - while it's a shame to see the show come to and end it was never a surprise because this season has been quite weak, especially compared to the first one. I thought it was a pretty decent finale though, most of the storylines were concluded pretty well with Astercorp being held accountable for everything they'd been doing. Shame the show didn't continue in the way season 1 did though because I thought it was better then and things got a bit too complicated during season 2. Complicated isn't always better and I thought the simplicity if season 1 was the best thing about this show.
