On Wednesday I watched the season finale of "Bones" - 8x24 - I found it a little bit disappointing (much like the rest of the season, I guess). With Pelant back I thought we were gonna get some real drama and I did like the stuff about Sweets being the target and not Booth and it was pretty cool that Pelant was using Sweets' previous work against him, I thought that was pretty clever and I felt sorry for Sweets. I also really liked Booth being all concerned about Sweets and rushing to save him - I like their friendship a lot. I thought the cliffhanger was a real disappointment though - So Pelant has convinced Booth not to marry Brennan but they're still together though so I don't think there's enough drama there. I think Pelant should have made Booth actually leave Brennan, it would have been much more dramatic if that had happened. Having said that, is Pelant gonna be controlling Booth about more things next season now because that could be pretty interesting.
I'm gonna tune in to season 9 (I can't give up that easily) but I just hope things improve because on a whole I think this season has been very disappointing.
On Thursday I watched "Being Human USA" - 1x11 - another fairly decent episode but it kinda disappointed that they were all dealing with their issues on their own, without any support from the others. I thought that was really sad, especially as they're supposed to be quite close. I'm interested in seeing where the rest of the season is gonna go. There's only two episodes left now.
Then last night I watched "Graceland" - 1x03 - I'm still enjoying this show but I think it's too early to tell how much I really like it yet. The chemistry is really good between everyone so I'm enjoying watching that. I like how they've all bonded while working at Graceland, even though they probably don't really know each other. I also think it looks great and is very stylised which I think really works for the show.
I'm interested in how Mike's assignment is gonna progress as he gets closer to Briggs - obviously their friendship is gonna get in the way at some point, right?
