WH13 4x17
Ooh, interesting episode this week.
I thought it was cool that Artie worked with Claudia again which gave us chance to see Steve and Abigail together - I thought they worked really well together too and it was nice to see Steve opening up to her and her, in turn, opening up to him. I think all the dynamics in this show work really well. I liked his fears about being officially part of the Warehouse now because his stuff has all been moved in and him not quite knowing how he feels about that. I really liked Abigails insight into that and the fact that she listened to her own advice.
The cases of the week were really good - loved the Claudia and Artie one and I totally didn't see it coming that Nick is working for the bad guys. I guess they knew Claudia's past and gave him a similar back story knowing what would happen. Pretty clever. It's a shame really because I liked him as a character before that scene when he sent that text. Maybe Claudia shouldn't have been so trusting about bringing someone back to the B&B? It is meant to be top secret after all but I guess she likes him and wants to help him - and she relates to him. I liked the bit when she said she wanted to pay forward what someone (Artie) had done for her. That was really sweet. She's gonna end up getting really hurt, isn't she?
The Myka and Pete case was a good one too - I loved that Pete opened up to her about what had happened even though he really didn't want to. He would rather have waited for the ambulance but she conviced him to trust her enough. That scene was really good, especially when he told her that he promised himself he'd never drink again after what has happened and that he hasn't. I liked her reaction to it too. No matter what he's done before, he's still her partner. I really like them two together. Oh, and it was fitting that the cookies would be his downfall. Maybe he'll think twice before stealing someones cookies now!
After all the references about medicals and health (I liked how Pete was trying to act overly masculine because of his low testosterone score. That's just so him) I should have seen it coming that something bad was gonna happen to one of them but I was genuinely surprised by that final scene. Oh crap. Poor Myka. I wonder where they're going with this storyline? With only a few episodes left now I'm getting really worried.
Teen Wolf 3x03
There's just so much going on in this show right now - I think they're doing a really good job of it though and everything must be connected somehow.
I loved Stiles in this episode (as usual). I just love it when Stiles is the one who puts all the clues together, he's the one who figures things out. Even when he's upset about things he still managed to figure things out. He's so a policeman's son! I thought it was cute when Lydia called Stiles after she found the body - not because he could call the Sheriff because she'd already called 911 but because she wanted him to be there. I also thought it was really cool that Melissa called him when she realised something wasn't right with the body that had been brought it. She knew it wasn't a wolf attack and that there was a pattern because of the 2nd victim. I felt so sorry for Stiles when the other body was Heather - he looked so upset and I felt sorry for Melissa too because she had no idea, if she had she never would have shown him her body. Great scene between Lydia and Stiles back in her house too - what does she have to do with everything that's going on? Why was she the one who found the body? I can't figure her out at all.
I really liked that Scott, Derek and Isaac had to call in Mr Argent for help to find Boyd and Cora and it was really cool seeing them working together - the dynamic worked really well, I thought. I did think it was a bit silly that they directed Boyd and Cora to the school without actually checking just in case there was someone in there. I liked the scene between Derek and the teacher though, is she his new love interest for the season? They seemed to have pretty good chemistry in the short scene they had together.
Great brief moment between Isaac and Allison too - I thought it was pretty cool that Allison was trying to track Boyd and Cora too because, really, she was partly responsible for them being loose.
So, along with all the wolves and shit there's also virgin sacrifices going on!
