On Wednesday night I watched "Chicago Fire" - 1x18 - I thought it was a pretty good episode as usual. I really love the friendship between Shay and Severide and I loved the scene when she asked him to have a baby with her. His reaction was so cute. I especially like that she said there was no pressure on him to say yes, and if he said no they'd be okay. I wonder where things are gonna go next in Shay's plans?
I think that Dawson to tell Peter Mills what she knows - he's bound to find out sooner or later and when he (probably) finds out that she already knew he's not gonna be happy. I know it's gonna be a hard thing for him to find out but I think he deserves the truth. Everyone does. I don't think Boden came across very well in this episode, especially when he was basically telling Dawson to keep quiet.
After that I watched "Bones" - 8x15 - I had pretty high expectations for this episode when I first heard about it but in the end it fell a bit flat for me. I'm not sure why because as a fan of the hurt and comfort kind of stuff this episode should have been right up my street. I think maybe because Booth and Brennan are together now their relationship just doesn't hold the same interest anymore. I thought the stuff Brennan experienced when she was close to death was pretty decent and it's good for Brennan to see something she can't explain with science. I liked seeing Danielle Panabaker's character again as I quite liked her last appearance - interesting to find out that she had a brief thing with Sweets too, but it's a shame it was off screen. I quite enjoyed all the squint stuff and the case was pretty interesting but for some reason this show just isn't quite doing it for me these days.
Then I completed my Wednesday night schedule by watching "Beauty and the Beast" - 1x14 - another pretty decent episode this week. It annoyed me though that after meeting Vincent for the first time Heather decided that she didn't like him and almost made Cat choose between them! Really? Just because he was acting awkward and shifty doesn't mean he doesn't deserve another chance to make a better impression. Weird. I do have a feeling that Cat's Vincent life and the rest of her life are gonna collide in dramatic fashion at some point during this show. They have to really because no-one can live two separate lives. Evan's getting close and now Joe (I think that's his name?) has his brothers death to avenge. This isn't gonna end well, is it?
Last night I watched
Psych 7x08
I thought the idea of a "Sliding Doors" themed episode was pretty cool but I don't think it really worked right after the episode where Shawn and Juliet had their argument. I kinda wanted an episode with some proper fall out instead of what we got. Maybe a "Sliding Doors" episode would have been better for another time? Having said that, it was good that Shawn put the blame for everything on him giving her that jacket and if he hadn't then everything between them would still be fine. I don't think he should have told Juliet that though! She didn't want him to blame the jacket she wanted a proper explanation for his lying. I love Shawn but I don't think he realises just how much damage he's done here. This is gonna take a long time to fix.
I thought the case was pretty interesting and I loved the puppy Shawn gave to Lassie. Awwww.
Then I watched 1x02 of "Being Human USA" - I thought it was another pretty good episode. I'm really interested in seeing where things go once the show gets going. I have a feeling it's gonna branch away from events in the UK one fairly soon. I really liked the Josh stuff in this episode, he's definitely my favourite already. I felt sorry for him when he had to leave his sister again, for her own good, of course but she doesn't know that (incidentally, I don't remember George in the UK version having a sister?). I haven't warmed to Aiden yet but I think that'll take time, Josh is just the obvious choice for me because he's so adorable. I thought the scenes between him and Aiden were pretty good this week too. I think their chemistry it's settling it now. In fact I think the relationships between the three of them is gonna be pretty good once it gets going.
