No, Bill, come on. Even Alpha babies can't fly. Can you---can you fly?

I watched "Elementary" again last night - 1x06 - thought it was another good episode. I liked the idea that the plan crash was a cover for a murder and it was fun seeing Sherlock figure it all out. Nice to see Reiko Aylesworth make an appearance too - I'd like to see her get a regular role on something again. Her character in this was pretty cool.

Some more good character stuff too - with Joan wanting to arrange a meeting with Sherlock's father only for him not to show, just as Sherlock said. Interesting to see another friend of Sherlock's too (played by the dude who played MacPherson in "Warehouse 13") which then lead to this shows first mention of Irene. I wonder where they're gonna go with that storyline?

I don't think this show is perfect but it's enjoyable enough and Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Lui are very watchable together.

After that I watched "Alphas" - 2x10 - thought this episode was okay. I liked Gary interacting with the baby and it was good that he didn't let the others hand him over to the so-called "parents" - Gary is the best in this show and I'd love to see a Gary-centric episode soon. I hope Cameron and Rosen team up to defeat Stanton instead of being angry with each other.

In other news: it's definitely getting colder out there now - winter's coming! I hope everyone's okay and hasn't been too affected by the floods elsewhere in the UK.
