(no subject)
Today we bought Andy a walker. We took him to Babies R Us, let him try a couple, and picked the one he liked best. He loves it. He gets to stand, he plays with all the toys on the tray:
We had been putting him in the swing when we hung out in the kitchen, but he doesn't like that anymore. There's no place on the counters for a Bumbo seat or anything like that, so tonight we put him in the walker while I made dinner and he was happy.

My immediate family decided to do a Secret Santa this year, $25 per person. Suits me fine; I don't need a lot of gifts. Not sure how Mom is going to restrain herself from buying a bunch of presents for her grandkids.
Thinking about what to buy Andy for Christmas. I got so many of his clothes as hand me downs or from consignment. I thought I'd splurge and get him some geeky onesies. Maybe a Star Trek uniform or a TARDIS onesie :)

Busy week ahead. Tuesday we start the pilot for the retinal edema study, Thursday the vendor comes from CA to show us how to use the equipment. Thursday is also Rifftrax Carnival of Souls, and Friday is the work Halloween party.
