Based on comments I have added a new beginning to Chapter 2. Believe it or not Chapter 3 is already done and I am preparing to work on Chapter 4. I'll be posting them as time goes on. So I've been a bit behind on writing but I'm hoping to make it up this week. Chapter 3 really stuck for me; it introduces four new characters who I hadn't really conceived of yet. So this is really the second half of Chapter 1; looking back I realized we needed to see a bit more of Jonah before we move on to someone else. Also, I can tell that this sort of writing is going to read very episodic. If anyone has thoughts on how to combat this they're welcome to let me know. So, on to it.
