And, well... that would be the phone ringing. Maybe someone who woke up in the middle of the night wondering about why she hadn't gotten her Saturday night call yet?

Okay, there might have been a little bit of a jump at the sound of his phone echoing around the quiet office. But it didn't take too long to recover, and instinctively reach to answer.

"Hello?" Without quite the realisation he should already know who would be calling tonight, or at least check his caller ID.

Oh, see that was a voice he recognised, and it tugged a smile out of him.

"Hey... hey, I was supposed to call you." And he'd forgotten. Damn. "I got caught up, I'm sorry."
