So, I was driving home from a particulary busy day at work when I saw the moon was just shy of full. It go me to thinking how some of the peeps in the medical field feel like we are all busier during a full, crazier people during that time, and crazier calls in general. Let me tell you that if ever wondered if there are crazy people in Charlotte, I am here to tell you, "Hell yes!' and I believe that theory is true, because I live it. Anyway, as I was looking at the moon I figured out where werewolves and vampires came from, or where the idea of these creatures came from. It doesn't take much to think of an elderly person as a vampire, with their skin so white and the elderly ladies that wear the ghastly make-up with red lip stick and such who also have sundowners dementia. Think about it yourself, some of these people bite, scratch, spit, kick and put up a terrible fight in their demented states when they would, otherwise, be very docile. So just imagine Anne Rice and the vampire authors running into such a person and how that would start their creative juices flowing. And, I've seen some crazy people out here and their hair can be wild and their filthy, just like a dog/werewolf. So, that's where the idea of werewolves and vampires came from, society.
