My friend Ashley mentioned that she's going to sew her kids' Halloween costumes for the first time (Bam-Bam for the 4-year-old and Pebbles for the 6-month-old) but has no idea how.  I offered to help her because I love sewing and know a thing or two, and besides I already had a pattern for a baby dress-type-thing that would work for Pebbles.  ( Read more... )

Awhile ago I had the delusion that I would create my own 10th Doctor coat.  At first I was going to make Andy play dress-up with me for GenCon- he as Ten and I as Donna.  The word epic wouldn't even begin to describe it.
