I was stuck in an auto service place for a few hours a couple weeks ago. Their TV was tuned to soap operas. So I became re-acquainted with soap opera music.
Now I hear the series Caprica has been canceled. It was a prequel to Battlestar Galactica and had a lot of nifty ideas. I liked it more than Galactica, except for the music. The music was limp and soggy. It was even worse than those soap operas I'd been stuck in the same room with. It revived the concept of "wet blanket."
In this way, it was sort of the anti-Firefly.
It would have been better with no music. Or one guy playing accordion. Or even me ...
