Woot!!!
So I just got off 8 straight days at work. Oh boy oh boy. Honsetly, it isnt realy bothering me to tell the truth. I've been in some kind of mental happy place the last 2 weeks, its realy odd. So lately I've been rockin out to some internet radio...nutty. There is one station, 525 power tracks thats pretty damd good. They play alot of the bands I listen to that not alot of people have heard of. Listening to this station alot and my little bro getting a bass for his b day has inspired me to pick up my guitar again and start playing. Wow do I suck! I'm sure I'll start to get better again in a few months. Hell, its been at lest 2 years since I even actualy tried to play the damn thing. My problem isn't with playing the guitar, its that I want to sing. I have been told that I have a good voice, especialy for the kind of rock/metal I wanna play. I'm thinking of something around a cross of Flaw/Crossbreed/40 Below Summer/Ill Nino, with the music being like Sevendust/Flaw/Ill Nino. If you haven't heard of any of those bands I suggest you fix this problem right away. Help my homies out. Yes, I have actualy met all the member from those bands. I actualy hung out with the guys from Flaw while at a show they were going to play at. But that is besides the point. I love to play but I like to sing as well...but I know I cant do both. So I'm stuck with that to decide on. Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure something out.
In other news we are finaly back on our feet and not living hand to mouth. We aren't living the life but we aren't wondering if we will be eating tomorrow or not. A story from Ambers dad: he is closing a very high profile case that could stand to pay out a shit load of cash...which would mean paying back Amber's trust fund so we would be getting $1500 a month from that. Woot! There's rent!
More news! I might be comming out to H-Town for x-mas after all! It depends on what we can do with the cats. I found out that I get a weeks paid vacation this year so I'm going to try and work something out. If amber goes out to her mom's then I'm heading out to my moms in Houston. I would be eve more awosme if someone came out to visit me in sunny california at some point though. (shakes fist)
