So today was a good day. Last Night was good. Recap:
Last Night (Friday)-Hosted Lip Sync Live 2004. Kim and I kicked major ass. Who would have thought that I would have had the guts to get up and talk in front of 600 people like that? Guess what, I even made jokes, I adlibbed, I was proud. At the end of the night I did not want to give up my microphone. Microphones are good, every girl should have one. Also, major ego boost. I walked out on stage by myself once in a new outfit (the black flowy tunic thing from wet seal) and there was a catcall! It was probably just another cabbie, but who cares. Also, people now recognize me on campus (hey, thats the girl who did lip sync) thats fun. Enough about that.
I saw the yearbook today, my moo and doo brought it when they came for dinner. My quote about Marching Band has some serious spelling errors, but who cares. Stephanie looks super hott in her homecoming pictures. Note to everyone with a yearbook, turn to the page of seniors accepting scholarships, look in the upper lefthand corner. Sigh. I like yearbooks. I like high school pictures where I look good. Right now I have on nasty pjs. So also today I did a storytime in the bookstore, normally there are about 13 kids, today there was one. It was sad. But I got a present from the bookstore for being a volunteer. I got to pick any hoodie I wanted. Then tonight I accomplished a lot on my final project for Educational and Instructional Techonology. Yay.
Also, I think I am coming to terms with some crappy stuff that I have gone through in the past year. I've come to terms with the fact that I have baggage, but I am okay with that. Sure, I still wish somethings and some situations had been different. But I can't change any of that now, heck, I couldn't change it then. Anywhoo...
I'm going to post some pictures from lip sync as soon as I get some. Yay!
