Stargate SG-1:

Favorite female character: I can't decide! There is Sam and Janet and Sha're and Drey'auc and Sara, and they are all awesome in their various ways.

If I have to pick one, though... Janet. Because she's an awesome doctor, and also tiny and stubborn and can tell off John de Lancie (who is a solid foot taller than she is). And she doesn't even have to do anything to assert her awesomeness.

Favorite male character: Teal'c. Jack was my "hook" character, but - Teal'c is sort of like the best of Batman and Spock put together, minus the angst, minus the prissiness, and plus a really fantastic sense of deadpan humor. Also, he's a wonderful father and an epically loyal soldier and friend. ♥ If I could be anybody in any of my fandoms, Teal'c is near the top of the list.

Favorite moment / episode / arc in canon: Window of Opportunity. Has to be. Jack and Teal'c, and all the silly time-loop moments, and the learning Ancient to help Daniel, and the "WACKO!" scene, and Robin Mossley, and then that scene at the end where Jack talks about Charlie dying and gets the stone calliope shut down. *awww*

(But also Message in a Bottle, because RDA is the best at being whumped, and it has awesome moments with Jack and everybody. Especially Teal'c. "Undomesticated equines could not remove me." ♥ And also Tangent, and and and... basically anything that has Jack/Teal'c friendship teaminess.)

Least favorite character: Simmons. Colonel Simmons played by John de Lancie, not Graham Simmons who was kind of cute and had a crush on Sam. He's a "love-to-hate" character, yeah, but he's so despicable I'm not even fond of him like I am of the Master or anything. (Well, until his last ep. More people ought to tell Goa'ulds "Oh, spare me the supervillain riff", they really should.) I can only stand him because I'm busy staring at JdL's amazing actorliness and boggling about how different he looks and sounds. :-)

(But he does rather get redeemed in that last ep. I totally have headcanon that Q turned up about half a second after he flew out of the airlock and rescued him for the lols. I keep trying to write that one...)

Least favorite moment / episode / arc in canon: Sam/Pete. It's like "ONOES, we have a woman regular who is not paired off, She Must Have A Man!!! *drag in lame whiny sap and give Sam bad dialogue about trying to make it work*"

Favorite femslash pairing: I don't know that I have one. The most usual is Sam/Janet... *shrugs* I don't really see any reason not to 'ship it, but it's not something I actively 'ship. (Most things aren't, lol.)

Favorite boyslash pairing: None. I am finding (rather to my interest and puzzlement) that except for a very few specific pairings, boyslash makes me go "bzuh? why would they have sex? they get on perfectly well in canon without it." Which is obviously me Missing The Point *lol*, but that's how my brain goes. ;P

Favorite het pairing: Jack/Sara. I wish they would have gotten back together, though I see why they didn't. But they were cool together.

(Also Jack/Sam - because it's sort of canon and therefore the only 'ship in this fandom that my brain accepts without question. Also there is an odd part of my brain that kind of 'ships Janet/Siler...)

Favorite nonsexual pairing: Jack/Teal'c friendship (brothers in arms is one of My Favorite Things, yes, and they are so spiffy together) or Jack/Janet friendship (of which there is Not Enough in canon or in fic). Also Hammond/Bra'tac friendship, for they are Epicness Of Awesome.
