In which I am still a drabbler / vignettist

NaNo update: the heck with this. I did a bit of good writing yesterday, but the best part (looking back) was the one where I wasn't trying to loosen up and freewrite - I'm just not immersed enough in geology that I can bubble out technobabble the way I can poetry quotations - and I've got several things I really want to work on that don't lend themselves to a minimum wordcount. So I'm going to fall back on my picowrimo goal of "write something every day", and try to get through some of those planned fanfics that never seem to materialize. :-)
