006 ❁ [voice] left me blindly here to stand but still not sleeping

[Hypnos has not entered his brothers room since his death, but he's there now, the computer in his lap as he sits cross-legged on Thanatos' bed, back against the headboard. The only light comes from the computer screen and lamp on the bedside table. Regardless, he wears his classic black wayfarers, and the only indication he's still awake are the ( Read more... )

I'm proud dad, really. [gone]

Of course not, I wouldn't dare to.
Though, should we...save the cats? I mean, do they have food and water because if not... It wouldn't be too much trouble, I think.

Unless they should join Uncle.

Spectacular, my boy! Should I knock when I head down?
Oh, most certainly we must save the cats! If I did not bring Fiona with me... why, no, no, no, she is as important as anyone! Do you have a cat as well, Morpheus?

Goodness... I had almost forgotten food. You keep my wits about me!

Knock? If you wish to then.

Well that's good news to hear, I haven't even spent that much time with Fiona yet. No, though I should?

That's what I'm here for dad.

Simply so you know that it is indeed I~.

You must! She's so very dear, Morpheus! I do believe she will adore you most absolutely. Well... that depends if you want one. They are not so hard to attend to. It is all personal preference.

... dad? He... no Father? I... goodness and that is why you are the pride of my heart.

I wish nothing more than to favor you, because you deserve nothing less. [She laughs, whisper-soft, and there's the sweeping sound of material - swishing in a slight curtsy.] And I would be most honored. T-thank you.

You are far too good to me, Hypnos. I am most fortunate to have you.

[A beat. Then, curiously.]

Do they have rabbis in Peru?

Ever the flatterer, my dear~ but, you see... [The shaking of his head is audible, and there is a little 'oops' as the poppy behind his ear falls into his lap. He lowers his voice then, ripe with bittersweet amusement.] I am indeed the one who is fortunate.

[He laughs in reply then, a bright chuckle.]

I most certainly do not see why not. Shall I find us a Jew so we can satisfy our curiosity~?

Then we are both fortunate. I - [There's a pause, but not a stumble. She is faulty in any of a number of ways and has very little problem admitting things of this nature.] I would not do very well without you, of that I can be certain.

And we would have to be able to leave first, I imagine. [She hums, thoughtful and carefully teasing. As if trying it out again.] For there might be rabbis in Peru, but I very much doubt that there are Jews in this apartment building.
