"Be mine. Forever."
These words kept running through Alex' head, over and over again. He'd dreamed of hearing these words for so long. Ever since he met the younger man at the dancing school three years ago. Ever since that moment, which made Jack become the only thing on his mind.
It was a sunny evening in August when Alex first stepped into the small, bright coloured building that would soon become an important part of his life, holding most of his friends and giving many amazing moments a home. There already were about six people in the room, some of them couples, most of them alone. The room's walls were covered with mirrors, in a corner there were a few wardrobes, and next to the doors were two benches and glass cabinets with prizes someone had won. The young people were chatting lively, waiting for their teacher, Eliza, to show up. And then, someone caught Alex' eye. It was a tall, lanky, raven haired boy who was standing all by himself in a corner, next to the stairs leading up to a higher story where currently another lesson was held.
"Hi, I'm Alex", he said with a light smile to the boy who was now looking up at him shyly, with his big, brown eyes. "I'm Jack."
And that was how their friendship had started. First they were just texting each other almost every evening, but soon they also began to dance with each other as they just seemed to fit perfectly.
When Jack first asked Alex out it wasn't even on a date. They just went to a small Café in a busy part of their town, watching the people hurrying past and talking about their lives. Alex found it incredible how easy it was to talk to Jack and how much he already trusted the younger one. He opened up to him completely, poured his heart out to him, told him everything about the bad times and the good times he'd experienced, about things he never told anyone. And Jack listened. He listened to everything he said.
That was probably when Alex first realized how much Jack actually meant to him. How much more than just friendship. But he kept quiet. He didn't want to ruin that wonderful thing they had. Because it was already more than he could ever ask for. Or so he thought.
And it wasn't until about two months later that something made him change his mind.
Laughing Jack lifted Alex up and sent him flying through the air before letting himself fall back into the water, too. Panting Alex came back up for air, shaking his head to prevent his dripping hair from falling into his eyes again. Then he laughed and dove back into the water, swimming away from the black haired man. The latter just smirked and went after him, soon having caught up to his friend. Somehow they finally ended up under the cascades which seemed to be practically everywhere at this place, still panting and laughing from the hours they'd spent playing and fooling around, probably making a good amount of people think they were a couple.
Suddenly, and without thinking, Jack lowered his head to the older man, looking at him questioning, still giving him plenty of time to back off. But Alex just looked at him with wide eyes and almost shocked. So Jack just decided to go for it, set all his eggs into one basket, softly pressing his lips to Alex', before pulling back again, watching the elder's expression slowly change from shocked to very, very happy.
Then he leaned in for another kiss.
And that had been their first kiss. And coming after that was a wonderful relationship. Of course, they didn't just have good times. They fought and many tears were cried, but they always made it up again. And at the end of the day they'd alwas be together.
And then, three years later, Jack has said those three words that now made Alex' head spin. "Be mine. Forever."
Followed shortly by the words that would link both their lives together, forever. "Marry me, Alex."
And now, they were here. In the back of the church, smiling nervously at each other, about to walk down the aisle together. They had decided on a traditional wedding. Well, as 'traditional' as a gay wedding could get. Jack in a black suit, Alex in a white one. The benches of the church decorated with white Lillies, red and white roses and many other flowers. A carriage was waiting by the door for the ceremony to be over. Alex' bouquet was a beautiful symphony of white flowers, with pearls an white, silky ribbons.
And then, in a blur of words, claps, happy tears, congratulations and blessings it was over. They were offically married now. And nothing could ever bring them apart.
A/N: Another Jalex, pure fiction, never happened. I own nothing but the idea.
