48. The Train
Chris is in the baggage car of a train and he is being shot at. There were others in there with him once--there was his CID team--but they aren't there anymore. Maybe they were gunned down when they tried to escape. He can almost remember, them deciding to finally make a run for it, him freezing. It was like he'd become a statue, or like his back had sealed itself to the wall. He couldn't do it, not even with Cartwright giving him her hand, not even with Ray and the Guv yelling at him.
And then they'd left, or maybe they were never there, really. Just him, alone in this train, seated on the floor and sobbing in fear, his gun useless with him frozen like he is. The blaggers are just outside and he's going to be gunned to death.
[ooc: Feel free to come in and panic with Chris or possibly to help him. There is dream logic, so if you expect to have a gun, you can have one. You can have any sort of reasonable weapon, as long as it's not magical or, like. A machine gun. Because that's too easy. The baggage car is about 7' wide by possibly 25'. There's a caged-off area where all the luggage is meant to go and that's what Chris is sitting inside, dressed in a blue uniform with red trim, which I assume is the uniform for the train. The inside of the train is white painted metal and there are windows, broken from gunfire, letting in a sunny sort of light.]
