Two-and-a-Half-Year Anniversary Date Night
Had a wonderful Date Night with radiantbaby last night. We were excited because we were celebrating our two-and-a-halfth anniversary together. wheezinggirl and oneandonlymatt have been raving lately about Sugo, so I wanted to go there. Unfortunately the one that they usually go to is in Roswell, and as I was coming home up 400 traffic was absolutely horrible! Fortunately, I used to drive by another one every day on my way to my last job, so I knew right where it was. More or less.
Down 141 we drove. And as we pulled into the parking lot, we realized that it was the same location as the Roasted Garlic Restaurant that we had our first date at two and a half years ago! Wonderful yummy foodness ensued. The manager dropped by our table to ask how everything was, and I shared with him the story about how we were celebrating our anniversary and didn't realize until we were here that it was the same place. He was so charmed by the story that he offered us a dessert on the house, and even some dessert wine! Yum!
We rolled ourselves home (because we were far too stuffed to actually walk) for a nice evening of staying up way too late for a school night.
