I take shit way too seriously

Nothing in particular, really. Just in general, I have a tendency to take stuff too damned seriously sometimes. Particularly including here on LJ for some reason. I think somewhere in my subconscious I've got the idea that I've got some kind of appearance to maintain or something stupid like that. That kind of thinking has gotten me in trouble before, and I've been doing some work to get over it this past year or two. I find that I have a lot more fun when I let myself hang loose. So I'm going to try getting to that a bit more here. We'll see how that works out...
