Metallic Embroidery
Past attempts at regular embroidery have been fairly unsuccessful, so I decided to try my hand at metallic embroidery. I hope someday to make a rich waistcoat and possibly coat for DH. The wonderful teenybuffalo has been kind enough to experiment with making silver plate wire for my endeavor.
I also picked up an interesting hat for DH at the thrift store, of all places. It's of a very fine quality, and I think it might work for 1790s up to early 1800s - what do you think? (I'll probably cover the white edging with black)
