(to be sung to the tune of "Anticipation")

I haven't sewn anything, done my taxes or finished any new fabric designs. Ta da!

Well, actually I do have a couple of new fabrics in the works. You can look at the designs I have up at my shop by clicking here and then clicking "Designs Not for Sale" on the left sidebar (it's kind of tiny). I've done a red polka-dot overdyed with yellow and a trellis design. I need to fiddle with the colors a bit, but they're almost ready. I'd like to have something a little more impressive to go with them before I announce them to all 4 of my followers on my blog, though. :P

I'm working on an all-over vining (is that not a word? It is now) floral that will be one or two colors. I've been tempted away from my mission statement by a pretty, complex floral stripe that contains 5+ colors. I just hope it doesn't look more like drapes than dress when I'm done.

I'm having second thoughts about my first round of fabrics now that I've had some practice and gained some knowledge. Also, I'm not sure I can release the "Peel" fabrics I did for 1812. I noticed that one of the pictures in Susan W. Greene's new book on printed fabrics was of one of the samples I found online and she credited a museum, not a library. Oh, well.
