If Sabella takes a nap, which is any length of time past thirty minutes, she will stay up very late. I put the kids to bed this evening at about 8:40. We've been getting to bed late because it's summer and the sun stays up a bit longer, but it's been working out.
Just now I went upstairs to check on the kids and as I got half way up I saw Sabella in the bathroom with the light on, the door wide open, sitting with her blanket and a stack of books on the step stool. She whispered "I'm letting Pharaoh have some time alone" to which I can't argue and left her there. She continued in her stage whisper "I got some books to read". She'll probably be up for another 15-20 min, til 10:20! arg. .... BUT she is sitting quietly, waiting for Pharaoh to fall asleep and pretty much looking adorable.
