An' my Puddin', too?! Well, if that ain't the best news I've gotten all day! How ya know us, bubs? [Harley is listening avidly now. He could be a fan, or someone they worked with in the future, or even someone they took advantage of! The possibilities of her future were endless!]

[No need to go into specifics here. Joker technically did die when Tim shot him, and as far as Terry's concerned, Harley had her back broken in that fall.

God, Harley really does sound every bit as crazy as the Commish said she was.]

[There is a bright laugh and if you could see her, she'd be grinning widely.]

Well, I guess being snatched outta thin air had its benefits, then, huh?!

[Cause, seriously, she was alive and that was what was important, right?! Annnnnnnd, then that last bit actually sinks in through the fog of 'happy Harley'. You might even hear her capybara snuffle and shift nervously as there is nothing on her end but silence for several beats. Hell, Terry might even think that she's severed the connection; and then, in a voice deceptively soft..]

[Because sure, hearing Max Lisa say that no one had seen them around in a while was one thing, but this? This was not 'no one has seen them around'.]

[Terry almost slips into his Batman voice, but pulls it back.

He hates Harley. Hates her. He saw firsthand what she and the Joker did to Tim, how they tortured an innocent child and ruined his life for decades to come. How he would never be without surveillance and psychiatric treatment, never without suspicion and distrust.]
