Why, hello again, all!
Guess who I got to meet today?
The Black Eyed Peas, yo!
My shirt that Taboo loved, with my Guest
BEP pass-sticker.
I'm sorry to disappoint, but I was hardly into this Meet & Greet, really. While waiting for them to meet us [they made us wait a whole hour!], all I did was complain about how I wanted to see
The Click Five perform so badly with this one other girl when we heard them come on-stage. Haha. And we guiltily admitted that we loved
TCF more than we would ever love
BEP. Besides,
BEP's been here thrice [I never cared]; this was
TCF's first time!
I secretly wished the concert was solely theirs. Screw
The Peas. Psh.
Before the whole thing, I was interviewed by this cocky interviewer for I-don't-even-know-what-station and I completely BURNED him on-air. Maybe a hundred times. He could not re-redeem himself to his fullest. [In your face, loser!]
After that was the aforementioned uber-long waiting time; and then, after making us wait for an hour [I can't get over it - bastards], we finally got to meet
The Peas.
But, alas, once outside the door, we were given some rules.
Rule number one: put your CDs away. They're not autographing shit.
Rule number two: put your camera away. You can only use our professional photographer and hey, we might even e-mail you the pictures.
Might. Wtf. It's almost like when you're a kid and your mum tells you to sit quietly in the corner and if you're nice, she might give you a lollipop or a cookie when you get home. "Might": it's the nicer way of promising nothing.
I was pissed off way before I even entered their precious dressing room.
But man, you know those dressing rooms they show on television, with all the light bulbs all around
the mirror and the entire wall is gold? That's what their make-up room was like. It was ginormous. And pretty. And I wanted to make it my bedroom. Sigh. Princess dreams.
And okay, I won't actually complain, since they're actually nice.
And by "they", I specifically mean Taboo. 0=D
Will.I.Am greeted me when I came in with a smile, a firm handshake, and introduced himself.
Taboo came next and took a real interest in me and... my shirt. Haha. I was wearing a slogan shirt and he brushed my hair away to read it. "Not tied down..." he started, as he tugged my shirt down. "What does the rest say?" "...Maybe later," I winked. He laughed and asked for my name.
Apl.de.Ap was quite... meh meh. Pft. Pinoy represent, my ass. All he said in Tagalog was "Kamusta?"
But
Fergie... Oh,
Fergie. She is gorgeous. Despite the fact that she is as short as I am. She is sooo gorgeous. And damn sexy. "I love your earrings," she exclaimed. [I was wearing my white and black checkered round earrings.] "We match!" she screamed excitedly, pointing at her mid-riff white and black checkered top.
When it was picture time, Taboo grabbed me. "Get over here, Angel." 0:)
And that was it.
These will have to do until they send me the pics with the real
Peas. Lol.
The concert itself was pretty good, though. They are quite the entertaining lot, I must say. And
Fergie is just gorgeous. She looks good in anything. And
Dunk is out of his mind because they are amazing live. Amazing!!!
Fergie. Gah. And their sexy dancers. And the giant monkey balloon. Haha. And the cellphone moment. Pretty good.
Except...
my girls were so tired, they hardly danced. They were just hanging off the railing like lil monkeys. Lol.
But despite it all, my loyalty was still definitely with
The Click Five.
I ran out the moment the concert ended to await their arrival and of course get my fill of Kyle Patrick's beautiful long fingers [remind me not to wash my right hand until it is absolutely pungent]. And then I went pretty wild with the picture-taking. Everyone was hogging Kyle's side, as usual, so I chilled right in front of Ethan and chatted him up a bit about how tired he was and what he was doing tonight. Haha.
Then, when there were no more people left in line, I ran to get my new shirt autographed. 0:)
The Click Five is absolute LOVE on a stick.
Five sticks. Whee. 0=D
