MEET & GREET: CLICK FIVE

Oct 18, 2007 00:29

Funny story behind my TCF fanaticism:
One summer night at Khao San, Belle got uber-drunk, and the night just ended up going haywire [cutting things short here]. So, Lukas and I decided to head to McDonald's to eat. Whilst doing so, "Jenny" started playing on the TV screen. I was mesmerized. There was this boy band with a very, very, VERY hot singer. I WAS IN-LOVE [to say the least]. Since I didn't have my glasses on, Lukas had to read the band name for me when the song ended: The Click Five.

Google time. Haha.
I found out TFC had a new lead singer - Kyle Patrick, age 21. Perfect.
Ok, so I was never admittedly into their music... at all...although "Catch Your Wave" is pretty catchy. But I never was a fan or anything. But this guy. Wow. I'd endure any pop songs you send my way for this guy.
And lucky, lucky me. They decided to come to Bangkok to promote their new album.

I got to Siam Center at two in the afternoon, terribly excited, for this was the day I vowed to ask Kyle Patrick to marry me.
The Click Five were at Cheeze Studio, surrounded by glass walls, changing!!! CHANGING THEIR CLOTHES!!!
I looked around frantically for Kyle but couldn't see him anywhere.
"Fuck this," I thought and decided to take a stroll around the mall.
And that's where I saw him - right in front of me at the escalator, clad in *gasp* all purple.
"Was this the guy I was going to marry?" I thought and decided not to propose just yet.
For he was not only clad in *gasp* all purple. But he was also squeezed into skinny jeans [he had skinny chicken legs - gross!]. That just proves how un-perfect celebs actually are... or maybe he thinks that's a turn-on? Not for me.
But damn... when he smiled at me... those dimples... I nearly fainted. He was A DREAM..... but with skinny chicken legs.
He did have nice, long fingers, though. And damn, I'm a sucker for nice, long fingers. *cough* Matt * cough*

So as I debated in my head whether Kyle was truly my husband-to-be, I attended the press conference where the most boring ever questions were asked - I would've fallen asleep had Kyle not kept on smiling his dimply smile [he had changed into something un-purple by then, but still skinny-jeaned]. No pictures were allowed at our first press con.

After that, it was on to the radio station for their on-air interview:

We weren't allowed inside, obviously - tiny place.

Then, off to the Channel V interview:

where manager Wayne Sharp turned photographer:

Then, it was off to the... BATHROOM... before the show:

Haha, yes. Believe it. I was with them all the way to the friggin' BATHROOM.
You should see the videos. 0;) I have videos of The Click Five in the loo!
This picture was taken outside of it, though. Joey <3

Then, finally, the concert:

They had a good acoustic playlist, which ranged from fast tracks to slow tracks. Kyle sang "Empty" so well. But "Addicted to Me" was definitely my favorite from this playlist. Other songs they played were: "Jenny" [of course], "Happy Birthday", and "Long Way to Go".
During the show, I fell less and less in-love with Kyle.
You know those guys who are extremely good-looking and you know that they know it through their mannerisms and the way they talk? That was Kyle. He was hot. And he knew it! Quite a turn-off. And, well, as things usually go with me and concerts, I fell for the drummer.
G'bye, Kyle Patrick.
Hellooo, Joey Zehr! <3
The Click Five only performed five songs, since it was a pre-showcase, [a teaser, if you will] for their forty-minute opening show for the Black Eyed Peas tomorrow night, which I will also be attending. 0:) [Front row VIP tickets, baby - courtesy of the Bangkok Post.]

After the concert, we got our CDs signed and that was the moment; the moment I decided I no longer wanted to spend the rest of my life with Kyle Patrick.
Joey Zehr was the one for me.
Unfortunately, I stalked him the moment I got home and found out he has a girlfriend named Jen. The bastard [...in an affectionate way. Lol.]. Drummers. Ahhh. <3 He's really cute, btw. And he's 25. So all you Kyle lovers, be my guest. I shall no longer fight to the death for him. Lol.

Basically, it was an awesome day. 0:)
If you have Facebook, I uploaded some of the videos I took on there. So check them out.

I'm really happy about today. 0:) Really, really.
It's gonna be a good week; I can tell.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna see this guy I've been crushing on for a while - he's performing at his school. And then I'm off to the Black Eyed Peas concert [I don't really like their kind of music, but Joey's gonna be there. So yay! 0:D] And then on Friday, I have the Meet and Greet with BEP - crossing my fingers that Click Five will be there, too. And then I might go to the beach with some friends. And then maybe to the Elle Fashion Show. Whew.
Finally, a good week! Nay, an AWESOME week. 0:)
