[TM] Boston: Doesn't anybody see where this is going... all out of my hands.

The hallway felt longer for some reason, from where Sylar and her had spent most the night and into a bit of the morning hours before actual people started to filter into the office pouring over the contracts that they had found. Eve wasn't surprised to see that there were a few of them in the file, mostly because the firm believed in making sure that they had all their bases covered. However once one was broken down into it's parts she realized that the only one that really mattered was the first one, the original one with the perpetuity clause in it.

The two of them worked on it for a while, and finally Sylar and her had wired it down to even a few points that could break the contract and stamp it voided out. It was rolled up in her hand as she shook her head moving toward the door that would put her a few states over back into the one place she hated being in. She didn't have keys, and she was pretty sure that they didn't even realize she knew about the access points, but when you have to deal with as much as she did with Human Resources, she figured out the tricks of the trade easily.

Finally staring at the Rune on the door she closed her eyes and almost wanted to back out of it. To turn around and go out the way she came, back up to New York, back up to running away from it all, because she knew just how easy it was... how simple it all had been the last few weeks. Even with Harry forgetting... in fact Harry not knowing much about anything made it almost easier for her.

Opening her eyes she slid her hand around the edge of the door, looking for the release. She knew Permanent Storage was a fire hazard on top of everything else, and that they had the release installed... she just had to find it. When her finger grazed over the slight raise in the frame she pressed it and listened to the locks releasing. Eve's hand grabbed the handle, letting the cold metal press into the palm of her hand as she turned it and stepped into Boston. It was still early, but she was pretty sure that as soon as she stepped into the building they'd know about it.

So she just stood there behind the sealed door that required an access code to get out of, and within four minutes she was being escorted upstairs to see Ryan. It was the conference room that Eve had used herself several times and seeing Ryan seated at the head of the table actually gave her a bit of a sick feeling. "So the Partners leave and you decide that means what... they trust you not to run this into the ground?"
