So -- how many instruments do you need to be musically fluent in before it's considered showing off?

More like the company. If you were going to a music school it would take more than say, your average highschool I think.

Oh. Hmm. Well, I do go to a music school, but I focus on composition, mostly. So I really only need piano skills.
