I just wanna share this TERRIBLE movie I just saw. YSC (That's York Student CInema) just showed THE GREEN HORNET.
Officially one of THE worst movies I have EVER seen.
Terrible plot.
Terrible dialogue.
Oh God, Rosy and I were cringing in our seats. And it was long too. Just unforgivable really.
I've got to watch something good now ... Lie to Me maybe?
Anyone who hasn't seen Lie to Me (starring Tim Roth), go watch it! Like right now, seriously, drop everything, even reading this incredible amazingly insightful, um, blog, and go watch Lie to Me. I don't want to say it will change your life but...
Also Midnight's CHildren is something to look into. I've just past the half-way mark (and believe me that's an achievement - it's a tomb) and I'm beginning to be reminded of X-Men... which is strange in a literary, postcolonial 'booker prize' sort of book. Don't be fooled by what I just wrote, it's sure as hell a deep, complex novel, but there's kids with magical powers for christ sake!! I'm so pyched that this is actually what I get to read as part of my degree!!
