Choreography ranting + crack ficlet
First, listen to KARA's new song, Pandora, and tell me it doesn't scream 90's anime, particularly Sailor Moon XDDDD
Second and mostly, why is KARA going to have to change their choreography? I mean, yes, Music Bank has always been really hard on sexual choreography and outfits, but really? Taking off their jackets 3 times, for like 2 seconds each? Sheesh.
That article notes that 4minute and Rania had to change their choreography - but After School never did and they didn't have special outfits for MuBank either (until they started doing casual clothes later in the promotion run.) And I *still* haven't heard of any boy groups getting asked to change their choreography because of it being too sexual. I'm actually surprised that Teen Top never faced anything like this, what with only 1 member considered an adult (if I understand Korea's coming of age day correctly...) and all their crotch grabbing. If y'all say that baring one's back is more sexual than grabbing your crotch then I don't even know.

Third, related to the first, below is a crack ficlet that came about 'cause of yuenyee92's trolling on Twitter when we were talking about KARA as Sailor Moon characters because of the MV. (Random AS cameos too xP)
(Hara: Kaorinite, Jiyoung: Ami, Nicole: Minako, Gyuri: Makoto, Seungyeon: Rei)
Hara stomped her foot as she yelled, "Why do I have to be the bad guy?" Her breath puffed up what little was left of her red bangs. She pointed at Jiyoung. "I bet there's plenty of red haired people in Sailor Moon that *aren't* villains! Besides, Jiyoung is too tall to be Mercury!"
"I'm smart enough though," Jiyoung answered back, sticking out her tongue. She yelped and jumped away when Hara lifted a hand at her.
Seungyeon rolled her eyes. "That just means you have no life."
Jiyoung's mouth dropped open. "Unni!!!" She scurried over to the couch planted herself against Gyuri's side, bending down to hide her face in Gyuri's shoulder. "Make them stop picking on me," she whined.
Gyuri looked up from her attempts to research to glare at them, sparks in her eyes. "All of you, stop it," she warned. "Fighting with each other isn't going to help figure out what happened."
"Well someone's taken a liking to the butch," Nicole chortled.
"Better than you flirting with anything that has legs," Seungyeon snapped back.
Nicole raised an eyebrow at her. "And someone's taken a liking to the bitch." Gyuri groaned as the volume level increased even more, Hara yelling over Nicole and Seungyeon's screaming match that Seungyeon would make a much better villain.
Outside the KARA dorm, Nana and Kahi frowned at each other, having heard most of the exchange. "Damn, looks like we were too late," Kahi said.
"First SNSD, and now KARA? What's going on?" Nana asked worriedly.
"I don't know, but we've got to figure out what's going on before another group turns," Kahi said as they headed back to the car. 'Or worse yet, our group turns,' Kahi thought grimly. 'I don't think the world could handle both Seohyun and Uee having Saturn's powers...'
