So, we finally got a car! Blah, it has been such a rough week, I'm so glad we got that down at least.

Blah, so my timing belt broke in my car last night, damaging the engine valves. It would be $1,400 to fix it, which isn't really worth it in a Kia that's getting older and might have other problems (and it only cost $11,000 to begin with), so my car is pretty much totaled.We have to go get my plates and clean our stuff out, then see what we can do ( Read more... )

So, last night I got off work a little later than I wanted, and Charlie and I were running late to be somewhere. I ran inside to change out of my work clothes quickly, and Charlie was waiting in the car, with his keys already in the ignition.
