The Event 1.01 "I haven't told you everything"
Interesting, fast-paced and yet not impossible to follow despite not following a chronological order in story-telling and introducing a lot of characters.
The parts of the plane falling were scary, even though I sort of guessed that it wasn't going to crash. Who kills practically all the main characters at the end of the pilot? ;P I didn't see the Plane Disappearing thing coming, though, and I'm curious to know who did it and how. And of course I want to know who wanted to crash the plane and why, too. I will definitely keep watching. Now, let's all hope it doesn't get canceled and it keeps being good.
Lone Star 1.01 "Pilot"
It's one of those pilots where they set the basis for the rest of the season. However, because of that, it's hard to tell what the next episodes will be like. The pilot presents the life of the main character how it is, and explains why he decides to change it. So we have to have till next episode to see how an episode about the New Life is (and if we like it). So far, I'm not particularly impressed, but I'm interested in seeing where they will go from there.
Modern Family 2.01 "The Old Wagon"
Is it just me, or did it use to be funnier? There were some good lines, but it wasn't... it wasn't as good as I remembered it.
Private Practice 4.01 "Take two"
I don't know how I feel about this episode. It was good, yes. But.
But I still hate Violet. I still hate that they messed up Addison/Pete. I think the idea of getting married after a week is crazy. I also hate how - or better, when they told the others. Also, I am not sure how I feel about Addison and Sam together.
The good: Addison! ♥ She's still my girl and I absolutely love her. Just like I love Coop and Charlotte. I hope they stay together and get married and keep being disfunctionally perfect together. Naomi is maybe getting some points back. Maybe. Sam was awesome with his son-in-law! :D And the kid is hot (if you manage to forget he's like 18). Can we get more of him, please?
All in all, I love this show. I love the ethical problems they talk about, I love Addison, I love Coop and Charlotte. What I don't like is how they keep on mixing the couples. They have more triangles than a geometry text book. Addie/Sam/Naomi. Sam/Addie/Pete. Addie/Pete/Violet. Pete/Violet/Coop. Violet/Coop/Charlotte. Coop/Charlotte/Sheldon. Sheldon/Violet/Pete. It's getting ridiculous. Scratch that, it already is. I'm so happy it's back, I just wish they would make up their minds, you know?
Grey's Anatomy 7.01 "With you I'm born again"
After a boring sixth season and a fantastic season finale, I didn't know what to expect. This episode was good. I am still not sure if they'll be able to keep up, but so far so good. There are things I didn't like, but they made sense. After what happened, they make sense. It was a powerful episode. I know not all episodes will be like this, but I hope they will keep up with the good stuff.
Fringe 3.01 "Olivia"
Great season premiere!
The whole part with 'our' Olivia was fantastic. I want more. Now. And I'm hoping Peter did notice something was wrong with Olivia. I mean, they are so different. As good as she may be at her job, how could she fool people so close to 'our' Olivia?
Side note: The guy with the burns... he was Jeremy Darling in Dirty Sexy Money! I didn't recognize him last season, and watching the new episode today I couldn't believe it. Also, I didn't remember he was that cute.
The Big Bang Theory 4.01 "The robotic manipulation"
There should be a new episode every single day. At least. It's just great, and I can't believe I wasn't watching it until a few months ago. Where have I been?
Sheldon: I have never been on a date.
Penny: Then there's a couple of things you should probably know.
Sheldon: I have a Master's Degree and two Doctorates. The things I should know, I do know.
Oh, Sheldon.
The Vampire Diaries 2.03 "Bad moon rising"
They better fix what they broke soon. Either Caroline and Matt are back together in two episodes, three top, or I'm done watching. I just don't want to watch if I have to see them with other people.
"If you wanna see me naked, all you have to do is ask."
I am asking. *ç* Really, I can't believe Elena told him to keep his clothes on. One more reason to hate her. And she was a bitch at the end.
Also, Katherine better not hurt my Caroline any further.
Supernatural 6.01 "Exile on Main Street"
Meh. We'll see how it goes on, so far I'm not impressed. It wasn't a bad episode, I just think it would have been better to close the show with last season's finale.
Will post about this week's shows, The Gates and Parenthood later.
