well i know it has been some time since i have updated this but better late than never right? since the last message i have visited austrailia, guam and we are on our way to hawaii... home is getting so close i can smell it... no wait, thats the smell of salt water, my bad...
i got myself into a little bit of trouble since i last updated as well... i kinda showed up late to work while we were in austrailia... come on, it was only 10 hours, why did i get in so much trouble for it????? oh yeah i remember now, i am on a floating pile of shit called the USS Peleliu and they like to fuck anyone they can... so my punishement was 45 days restriction(no leaving the boat in guam or hawaii or san diego until march 27th), plus i went from being an e-4 to an e-3 which is a big drop in $$$, and the bitch also took half of my paycheck for the next two months which also sucks really bad... oh well, i'll make the best of it and work my ass off... our CO (commanding officer), which is a short ass old woman who used to be a professional body builder told all the people that got into trouble that if we work together as a team until we pull back into san diego in early march, we will get 8 days taken off our restriction... which is a good thing cause then i can get my phone turned on so i can hear some voices other than people on our ship...
brianna is excited about me coming home... i just hope she really feels the way she says she does, cause she really means alot to me, i dont quite know what i would do if i got back to VA and she didnt want to see me anymore... i am proud to say i have been faithful and kept my hands to myself ever since i got out here... think what you will brianna, but i honestly have been good... for YOU
well i suppose i will close this chapter and move on from my experiences... here are a few things i have learned since arriving onboard the USS Peleliu:
1) pretend to work as a team but in all actuality, look out for your own ass first
2) find the biggest ass around and kiss it, cause its usually the person in charge
3) don't ever lie to save someone else... confused? look to rule #1
4) nobody else is worth your money... again it falls back to rule #1
5) marines are odd... one-on-one they are generally good people, but when they get into groups, they become retarded... which is expected of people who volunteer to get shot at
6) look busy or pissed off and nobody will bother you
7) 6 months of bullshit cannot be cured with one night of drinking, or two, or three... trust me, i tried
8) above all else--- NEVER JOIN THE MILITARY!!!
thank you and good night
