Jonghyun was lonely. no, that's cool. just break my heart with the very first line.
Jonghyun used to stare out of his bedroom window and wonder if there was really someone out there meant for him. Now he would stare out of his bedroom window and think of Kibum. oh dear lord this kills my heart :'c

Their tears dripped down their cheeks, seeping into their kiss and Jonghyun had never felt quite like he did in that moment, with Kibum - the real Kibum, the one that was honest and hurt and insecure and still so incredibly beautiful - in his arms and with his heart in his throat. this is beautiful. I can't even express. it's simple at the same time that it's so relevant to everything that'd happened.. it's really just.. gorgeous.
“I don’t care,” he spoke again as Kibum kissed him desperately. “I love you.” legit crying now. what did I just say about "beautiful"?
.. also, Jonghyun is shameless and I love it. just saying.
at least until the tune of Big Bang’s “Love Song” could be heard from the kitchen, where Kibum’s roommate had surely turned up the volume as revenge for the past half hour this. I love this. XDXD

Jonghyun and Kibum weren’t the only ones feeling a little awkward when they had received lyrics about pretty noonas and school boy love so they were given another song, this time about an angel’s whisper and the devil’s undeniable spell. yes. I can't imagine these guys, having just come from a rock musical of all things, to be comfortable with Replay.. I can totally see them switching over to Lucifer. hell yes.
A name that perfectly described Kibum’s - Almighty Key’s - eyes when Jonghyun took him to the top of the observatory to celebrate their upcoming debut, to kiss him, to tell him how proud he was and to tell him how much he loved him. AND THEY GIVE SHINEE RELEVANCE and this is so beautiful.

About Key's past, I did drop a few microscopic hints throughout the other chapters, but mostly Key just lied about it. It's not that he didn't "want" to tell Jonghyun, it's that he was afraid to, I guess. And yeah, Jonghyun didn't know anything about his past, but in his own way he did know Key very well still (like his personality? - his habits, etc). Yeah, sorry for rambling xD
