It's not fucking south carolina.
Since the day I started this journal it's been the same, I go through my day, things happen, I think 'wow, this will make a great livejournal entry' but when I get in front of the computer to update...I got nothin'. This happens at least once a week.
So anyway, I've been in Baltimore for a little over a month now and things are going pretty well. I work as a temp and right now I'm at a law firm downtown. A month ago when they lost their biggest client they had 40 employees. Now they have 10. It makes for a very calm relaxing environment in which to do mind-numbingly boring tasks all day. But the money is good and there is no stress whatsoever, in fact work is where I find it easiest to relax. My dad and I got season tickets to DC United, the local MLS soccer franchise. It's been pretty cool reconnecting with my dad after not being around him for so long, he's the conservative version of me, actually I'm the liberal version of him but who's counting. Things aren't all rosy though, I still don't have a bank account, I haven't gotten my transcript from Cypress yet and I still need to get my license changed, two of these three things are 9-5, monday-friday things and those just so happen to be my work hours soooo, we'll see. Over all I'm happy with my decision to move here, 1. I'm finally making progress towards going to school, 2. There is an actual scene here with, like, bands and stuff, 3. It's not fucking SOUTH CAROLINA!
