A sucky day
For two reasons. First, I have an aweful headache. I get headaches a lot, but not like this. I got up and fixed breakfast, got the highspeed Internet working again, and then went back to bed and slept until 3 PM. Mary made me get up and eat and then went out and did a little shopping. So, what's up? Well, Regan called yesterday and friends of hers from ICE went into Nanny and PawPaw's house and reported on its condition. Its a mess. The roof fell in and they really could not get in very far. Furniture was everywhere and it was a total mess. Up till now, there had been a little hope that maybe something would be salvagable, but now that hope is really gone. Paw Paw cried and it was hard to watch.
Later, I went on line and found some house plans. I found a house that looks pretty good and meets their needs as well as fits with the existing house. So, we look forward. But, its hard to stop looking at the past.
