[Thursday switches off her communicator and heads up to the bar, taking a seat and glancing around for Wally.]

[ Wally is up not too long after, having gotten used to the slow way of walking after chasing after kids for several years. He spots his companion quickly enough, grabs a beer and takes a seat next to her. ]

I understand it wasn't my fault, but it seems terribly callous to simply say "My doppelgänger took over my body and knocked you unconscious for no real reason. Deal with it."

I usually prefer not to say anything. So it was doppelgängers this time? Glad I missed it. The last time I met my doppelgänger he turned out to be a real jerk.

It seems like it. Some sort of alternate universe thing, I think. As floods go, I expect it could have been worse. I just didn't expect to be saddled with that woman again.
