Best. Fiction. Ever. So in love with this. I'm so glad you updated.

And I would totally bounce back from a terrible set if I had the chance of Sherlock kissing away my pain.

I love how Sherlock is secretly taking over John's thought processes, hah. Be careful, John, or you'll be in love before you know it. :D

Also love the knowledge of tennis you use here - I don't know much about it, though I do watch Wimbledon, and I love the detailing and the voices of the crowd/reporters.

Yay, hope the next part comes up soon!

Apart from your great character development, I love your tennis play-by-play. During the tournaments I listen to Radio Wimbledon and Radio Roland Garros fairly obsessively (during work, teehee, due to the time difference to the US East Coast :) , and I think you've got the tone and content just right. And I think it has a lively enough pace to hook non-tennis fans as well.

One question - what are the top 10 rankings you're working with? I think you said 1-Nadal, 2-Moriatry, 3-Holmes, 4-Djoker, 5-...Murray (not sure)? Anyways, I don't think I've seen Federer yet. If Federer is any lower it'll be intriguing - making this an AU set in the nearish future during a theoretical Federer decline?

Keep up the good work :) Such a fun fic!!

Gah, you're making me long for the French Open to start and it's SO FAR AWAY.

I got more into tennis while writing this fic - before than I had a passing interest in it - so it was Wimbledon mainly, which I managed to watch some of the matches on the telly and during work listened to the BBC's commentary on the radio, which was great because it inspired the commentary in the fic ( ... )

that the tennis can be used to move the emotional aspects of the story is a pretty slick trick; one you have nailed consistently. kudos for making this normally at best lukewarm sports fan actually get into the on court action! :D
