ぜんぜん分からへん
So yesterday, we did a whirlwind tour of Kyoto, hitting Kinkaju-ji, a gold foil covered temple, Sanjusangen, a temple with 1001 images of Kannon, and Kiyomizu-dera. in the rain.
It wa kinda sucky, but the crowds weren't too bad due to the weather. I hate to think what it would be like on a nice day during sakura season. ::shudder::
We were wandering down alleyways on our way down from Kiyomizu and bumped into some geiko. I got my picture taken next to a real life geiko!! Of all the luck right?
Today was Nijo castle early this morning, and then to Nara, where I saw tons and tons of deer, and a really big Buddha. Deer are vicious animals, i tell ya. if they smell food they are all over you like 200lb pigeons. Especially the cute babies who look at you with big brown eyes, distracting you as another deer pulls the only map you have out of your bag and eats it!
Tomorrow I am off to see Himeji castle and then head to Nagoya for another couple days!
