Yesterday I had an oboe da caccia breakthrough. I made a new reed and the "oboe constrictor" suddenly decided not to sound like a foghorn anymore, but sweet, dark, rich and btw also better in tune! Yesterday i found this played on shawm! The players name is Ian Harrison and he plays  all sorts of bagpipes, cornetto and shawm. I think the shawm playing bis extraordinary.  Wow I am thrilled, hopefully I'll get my shawm ready in august!
