If it wasn't such a short straple, I guess it would work also on a modern oboe, it's just slightly broughter. Maybe it will work on a vienna oboe, when I get the chance to try once, I'll be excited to find out.
It's exam day today, there are four early music exams in a row. I am playing in the first one for a friend. we play the Janitsch Quadro from my exam. It's just that I am somehow nervous...my teacher will be in the jury of this, and I don't want him to think it I am playing much better or worse than the other day, that would be too annoying.
