I've been meaning to update this thing for awhile...

With the upcoming holiday, I've had a bit of a breather from homework. It's been nice to have time to do things like work or vacuum. I've also been using it to catch up on organic chemistry homework. I am now only one week behind, yes! I know I'm probably gonna get a C in the class and have to re-take it, but at least I'll know what's going on next term.

Registered for classes for next term, and am taking... get ready for it...
-vertebrate physiology+lab
-cellular biology+lab
-organic chemistry
I can hear you all seething with jealousy.

In other news, I had to have another fucking talk with Al. Cuz you know, the same problems keep rearing their ugly head. My first thought was to give him an ultimatum, like, fucking change or I am leaving you with a time line of six months. But, then I remembered nobody likes ultimatums, so I decided against that. I also realized that it is completely out of the question to expect someone to change. If you marry someone, and their selfish then you should just expect to deal with the rest of your life. And, yet I'm not prepared to do that. So, after a period if screaming/crying (all on my part) he said he would change. I want to believe him, but I'll have to wait and see.

On to more pleasant topics, the winter break is shaping up to be a busy one. Albert and I have planned a Vegas trip with David, Mike, his cousin Wawa, and Wawa's boyfriend (who is apparently a complete jerk and I didn't want to come, but I got overruled.) Wawa has never been as she is from Taiwan, and since she's returning there pretty soon, Mike thought that she should see Vegas. I've also never been either, so I'm really looking forward to it. We're staying at the Stratosphere, and we already have our tickets for Cirque du Soleil.
Before that, Al's parents are coming down for X-mas. Which means, his family will be spending X-mas with my family. It promises to be exciting, and I don't think it will disappoint. After X-mas his parents are going up to Canada to visit relatives, and I think Al and I are gonna tag along. Which means another first, Canada! Though it'll be hard to not act all excited. The reason we're going is to visit Al's aunt who is dying from cancer. Deja vu.

One last bitch, then I gotta go study. I kind of just want to hold David under water until he stops moving. Which is hard for me, cuz I genuinely like the boy, but he's driving me up the wall. I'm so sick of picking up after him. He'll pull something out and use it, then never put it back. I finally have to put it away when I want to clean under the spot the object was occupying. He needs to learn to clean up after himself, cuz I am not his mom!
