new dawn of a new day
I went to Target today and got a new planner. The one I'm using now has about a week left in it. Funny enough... without even realizing it, I got the exact same kind of planner as my old one, just in blue instead of purple! haha I bumped into two of my co-workers there too and told them all about my plans for school. They are both interested in film and I'll be starting at the same college as they are currently at. So maybe I'll bump into them around campus too! haha
I stopped at Best Buy too, just to look at the netbooks. I decided it would be good to have a portable laptop, for taking to class and what not. The netbooks are not too expensive (not like getting a macbook!) so I thought I could afford it. I've been looking online and the number of different ones is overwhelming! I want to be able to see it before I get it too, but that makes things difficult when I'm just looking online. They actually are all basically the same, so the way it looks matters more to me. Mom still doesn't want me to get one... "what do you really need it for?" she just doesn't get it! haha
Tried one of McDonald's fruit smoothies today for free (I had a coupon) and it wasn't bad. I'm not crazy about the flavors though... they only have two, strawberry-banana and strawberry-blackberry-blueberry. But it's good if I have a craving for a smoothie :)
Not much else happened today... cleaned my room up a bit. I have to work almost all day tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. Oh well, I just have to think of the money! woo!
