To get some variety and inspired by chickadeelee, I decided to introduce height to the sims of Mattsmyra.

Each sim will have a number from 1-100 which is connected to height in a table built on a normal distribution curve

In Mattsmyra, a very specific method is used to determine the birthdate for a new sim.

At the precise moment when the name tab for the sim baby appears, two things are checked - how far are we into the current season, and what time is it?

The season's premier for Mattsmyra was calculated for Valentine's Day. As some of you know I have had great problems with my game, which are now sorted out. Nevertheless, that delayed the current season in Birka, my BaCC, which is still sending new episodes with about 4 weeks delay.

Just before the one year anniversary of Mattsmyra, the society is looking forward to a revolution.

They are moving to a new computer, and will have all the opportunities we've only seen in other neighbourhoods - fishing, gardening, pottery, dancing, hobby lots - in addition to the University and IKEA lots that will now also be available to my ISBI  ( Read more... )
