Breathe in, breathe out...
This week went by kind of fast, but it was a long week. This morning on the way to work, 3 traffic lights were out. So I got stuck in that traffic for about 20 minutes. Made me late to work. :( Garbage people picked up the trash this morning and dumped the trash can in the middle of my drive way, or at least in the middle of my back up path. And being the ding bat that I am, I didn't see it until I hit it and knocked it down. Oh well, at least it didn't damage my car.
Last weekend I was off and it was wonderful. Ran errands and got my haircut on Saturday. Then I cooked a big meal and had friends over for dinner. It had been quite a while since I had cooked a whole meal. I do enjoy cooking, I just don't have the energy anymore between the 2 jobs. But dinner was great. Then we played cards all night. Sunday was a gorgeous day and we took the dogs hiking.
Going to see Avenue Q tonight. Should be great. Gotta work tomorrow but I'm off Sunday. The schedule lately has been pretty good. I'm still working about the same hours at Bloomy's but the way the schedule is spread out makes a big difference. And I'm not working as many Sundays, which is great.
Johnny's opening his own auto repair shop with his friend. They've been busy preparing for the shop to open. It should be ready by next week. It's very exciting and I'm so proud of him for achieving his dream. I'm a little nervous of course, but I have faith he will do well.
