A quick rant on NEWS that is everywhere (there's a really stupid pun if you squint)

. And y'know I'm actually really surprised at the kind of low key response this "incident" has gotten from the fandom. I honestly thought more people would be outraged and vocal about it since its getting some pretty heavy news coverage and well... dude it's fucking scary!

The poor guy was groped to the point of getting his clothes torn, had things thrown at his head AND someone jacked his luggage.

The most amazing thing is that he went through the whole ordeal without:
1) Crying
2) Punching a well-deserving fangirl in the face

Seriously, you don't go around grabbing strangers without their consent. I don't care how many posters you've got on the wall or how many copies of the album you buy- he's got NO idea who you are, much less given you permission to cop a feel. I dunno, for some reason I'm getting the vibe that lots of people don't think it's a big deal and are kind of downplaying it. I guess because Yamapi handled it so well that people don't think that it wasn't shit-your-pants scary. The buddies he was travelling were a lot more open with their obvious disgust at the situation, and that in and of itself is crazy. Even though he was harassed and hurt and a victim of crime- he's not allowed to express that. I dunno, I mean, I'm sure being a Johnny's has mad perks like money and all kinds of booty, but still having to swallow your feelings like that and front all that time- that's gotta suck.

And the date I'm posting this is REALLY rather ironic, so I might as well get out there and send out good vibes and happy thoughts to Yamapi on his b-day. I hope he gets a chance to breathe and a little glimpse of sanity along with all kinds of great presents.
